NYC Semi/Non Targets -> IB

How likely is it to go to a school in that isn’t NYU, Cornell, or Columbia and break into IB at a reputable boutique/BB?

I’m talking about schools like:

Fordham Rutgers (close enough) Baruch Binghamton Yeshiva University

How do these schools rank and how many students get into IB in NYC?

Really healthy amount of Yeshiva and Baruch guys in banking. A guy who interned with me this summer at a BB went to Yeshiva, and told me that the guys who want IB usually get it. They place at pretty decent places too (MS, GS, Moelis, etc). The jewish connection is no joke.

Baruch is good because its cheap and is in NYC. They have a ton of guys going for IB, but a decent amount land jobs every year, so def possible there as well. Can't speak for the other schools you listed
