Opinions on my options(college)

International student Major-Finance(business schools in all of them)

Rutgers -57k/y

Indiana Bloomington- 60k/y

SDSU- 52k/y

FAU-43k/y

UCF-37k/y

ASU-40k/y

Most important for me are the chances of getting an internship(hopefully for a back office at least)

notes- iu is pre bus for me and not direct admission to kelley.

Rutgers is econ but I heard it doesn’t matter and you can go to rbs on sophomore.

IU is best overall for recruiting if you can get into IBW, which means you kinda need to network/join the business frat

Rutgers it’s behind IU for recruiting and the cost is similar so just go IU. Probably behind ASU IBIS, but you don’t need to rely on getting into a program.

ASU is the best balance between recruiting, cost, and experience. But it is really only the IBIS program that places decent and they take like 15 kids a year, so same as IU but if you don’t get into IBIS your chances of placing are much lower.

SDSU is by far and away the best academic and most fun school on this list. If you want to enjoy college would go there, but not a huge finance presence.

Thanks!

so I understand that the Florida schools on this list are not recommended😂, even considering the cost difference.

would you say sdsu is better than ucf academically wise? Even more than Rutgers?

They are fine schools but don’t have a ton of reputation in finance. Just considering ASU and the potential for the IBIS program for around the same cost it just wouldn’t make much sense. For SDSU being better academically, I more so meant the perception of difficulty getting in and from a prestige point of view. Ik UCF is by no means an easy school to get into but I feel like it is not perceived the same (also from SoCal so may be biased).
