We need a little more info to be sure - what's your GPA, undergrad type, GMAT, and ECs?

Basically, can you craft it into a compelling story? My understanding is that this kind of experience is good enough for all M7 WITH the right profile but might be tricky at H/S without an extra edge (URM, crazy volunteer work, etc.)

Edit: I'm also in a position where I'm the first person in my role without an MBA (it used to be a recruited post-MBA position where they recruited from top schools, then they decided to change it to a pre-MBA spot and recruited from banks). I just sent off my app to most of the M7 so I'll let you know how it sits.

Currently in an LDP at a F100 company. I've known that I wanted to get a top MBA, so I was also concerned with how the experience looked on my resume. Assuming you performed well in your rotations (reviews and recommendations would prove that) and you have a holistically solid profile (educational background, ECs, etc.), then you're in a good place. I've sought out advice from many sources and I've been told the same thing from most people: LDP is a solid experience. LDPs benefit you in two main ways:

  1. It shows that you can be given work (even if it's not the most glamorous work) and get it done. It also shows that you're able to adapt across different situations, embrace opportunities for new learning experiences, and succeed even after "restarting back at zero" (i.e. when you start a new rotation)
  2. As you mentioned, to adcomms, you're grouped with other F500 LDPs, which is a cohort that isn't as saturated as IB/PE/Consulting. So you'll definitely be given consideration, especially coming from an LDP of a $200B company.

But again, it's all a matter of your holistic profile and how you're able to convey your experiences.
