Profile evaluation for MSF
Hi,I'm in the process of applying for various MSc finance in Europe. My dream schools are HEC Paris and LBS, but obviously can't rely on being accepted in them as they are so competitive. Wanted an opinion on my profile, where I could and should apply, as well as advice on how to improve my profile. To be noted that I'm slightly older, will be 24 when graduating.
Undergraduate: 2:1, 65%~ Financial Mathematics at an alright university (Nottingham, Manchester)
GMAT: 750 (Q49, V44)
Internships: 2 at small-time banks/funds, 2 months each.
Languages: Italian, English and French.
Ideally would work in London or Paris after the master.

Well, you have a strong GMAT that will help you. Afterwards, since you already have 2 internships and are 24, I would go to LBS. They have an awesome career team that really helps to find a job. Other schools, I would apply are SSE and Bocconi (both way easier to get in) :)
Thank you for the answer. I'll apply to both HEC and LBS for the next round. However, don't you think that, since both Bocconi and SSE are 2-year programs, that would make me too old when leaving the school (26)? Also, what do you think about ESCP/ESSEC and IE/ESADE?
True, I chose these schools because they are quite known for finance. I would apply to ESSEC (they are quite good for finance). I would not apply to ESCP, IE and ESADE, they are really expensive and are much less known than the other ones above. If you want to apply to more "safety" schools than I recommend to apply to ones that have a great ROI and consequently I recommend to apply to RSM and CBS. If you apply to LBS, LSE, HEC, ESSEC, RSM, CBS, I think you will have a very good mix of schools :)
You should be fine even if GPA isn't stellar. Focus a lot on all the questions they ask during the application process, answer them thoughtfully and take time to craft a good response. Your background is OK, not great, but it's always worth a shot trying to apply. Your chances will also be better if you apply early.
