Profile Evaluation - LBS MiF, Oxford MFE for ‘22 Fall

Hello fellow monkeys,

Your inputs would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to rip apart my profile.

I’m sorta midway in applying to several Masters (mostly in UK & France). I’ve been able to narrow the list down to
Ambitious: LBS MiF, Oxford MFE, MIT MiF
Competitive: HEC, CASS, ESSEC
Safe (?): ESCP

As you guys can notice, MIT is the only outlier - figured might as well throw my hat in the ring for a US top college too.

My profile:
- Indian, Male. With four years of relevant work experience by ‘22 fall
- B.E (Hons) in Electronics with a minor degree in Finance from #1 Private University in India
- Slightly lower than average GPA. (~65%) Without delving into too many details: got my shit together towards my last year at undergrad. Did great in finance courses and have a study project in Econometrics under my belt
- GREAT Extra curricular involvement. (Undergrad & work)
- GMAT: 750 (Q51, V40)
- Third year working in Risk Management at a BB Investment Bank. A significant boost to work ex in the last two years; was able to internally switch into a very small and highly localised Alt Investments Management arm of the bank which bagged me temporary offshore work opportunities in France and London
- Expecting great Professional & good Academic LoRs

Considering I have had experience working in France and London, I dared to put ESSEC & ESCP on the list and have looked past Bocconi and other regional universities. I’m willing to apply to US unis as well but I would rather prefer a generalist masters programme overall (open to suggestions)

Obviously one of my main concerns would tackling my low GPA. Hoping to offset that with above average GMAT score & rest of my profile.

Would gladly take inputs on framing aspects of my application as well as choosing the right college.

Thanks!

To elaborate, I kinda like the Alt Investments/ AM space and wouldn't mind exploring it further post graduation. Otherwise FO S&T or M&A at IBs right out of graduation would be great too. I really don't have much exposure towards buy-side so I'd perhaps keep my expectations to a minimal on that front.
