Prop trading university
Ik university matters a lot less for prop trading than you as an individual candidate and your own skills and that further more actually getting in is incredibly hard. Typically, if you're a winner and you're good enough you should break in from xyz regardless.
That being said I know that in the UK for prop trading Oxbridge and ICL are typically the upper rung for it (for some firms) and UCL, warwick and LSE lag a bit. I just wanted to get a few opinions on whether or not a Chemistry with Mathematics degree from UCL would be more competitive than a straight chemistry degree from Oxford/Imperial. The former has much more maths to it (although chemistry has a good amount of advanced maths in it but isn't really one of the more common courses people break in with; namely maths, physics engineering etc) and might be received better by prop firms. For example, a mathematics degree from Warwick would be more competitive than a Classics degree from oxford and i'm trying to come to a similar conclusion on this.
thanks
