Candidly, if you are an out of state asian / white male, getting into Michigan, Chapel Hill, and the UCs will be difficult with a 3.7 and a 1440 -- these are almost certainly below the averages for people in those categories that are admitted to these school. I know a lot of kids with 3.9+, 1550+ stats that were rejected from Ross, UNC, UCLA, and Cal. Penn state should be doable, but am unfamiliar with UT or UVA so can't comment there.

I agree well I am not white or Asian and I have Stellar Extracurriculars tailored towards my major so do you think I would have a shot.

If you’re LDS—or not bothered by the Honor Code—and interested in IB then BYU is a no-brainer from a purely financial perspective. Tuition is far far lower than any of those other schools (even in-state) and placement to BB/EB banking is solid—I think even better than the comment above alludes to. For the last several years (until 2020), placement was 25-30+ each year. Competition isn’t even that fierce for spots, as most people in the business school are put off by the hours/lifestyle of IB.

full disclosure, I went to BYU and did IB before moving to the buyside. Feel free to DM with questions.

I would say Lehigh might have a bigger presence on the street than the other Patriot League schools mentioned. Lehigh is just a bigger school which means it can just place more kids into IB relatively (not comparing quality of schools). ND is step above

Stats look solid for IU Kelley. Also worth looking into Claremont McKenna and Emory

I would add WashU and Emory to the list as well

Since your stats fall around the middle 50% for many of these schools, it's crucial that you craft the best application essays you possibly can to have a solid shot at them

and since you're still a junior, try to build up your ECs and awards too

what do you think about my chances for schools like wake forest, villanova , colgate these are my top 3 I will definitely add osu to my list
