Second MBA from M7

Kindly note: I have a lot of respect for my Post-Grad School. But I would also like to know more about other potential opportunities for me. Context- I have been studying in a non-target B-School and even though it's in the top 20 in my country, it cannot come close to the American M7. I believe that the learning experience offered in my curriculum does have a lot to desire even though I feel there has been a significant learning curve since I joined my B-School. I do have my own reasons too for going for a second MBA or executive MBA (would like more advice from you guys) So I wished to know that after doing my MBA can I get admitted to one of these schools later in my life? What are the chances considering the perspective of these premier schools who would have my resume in my hand?

Just a clarifying question, have you worked yet or have you gone straight from undergraduate to business school?

You will need some significant work experience before you would even be considered for a US MBA, and even then it will still be questionable given your existing MBA.

An EMBA in 10 years will likely serve you better.

If you went straight to an unranked international MBA from undergrad you can be considered for top 15-20 US MBA. I spent ~10 years reading applications at a top US MBA program and, for the most part, candidates with an MBA were automatically denied. The thinking was that those individuals have already completed much of the curriculum for the program. The exception was for candidates from outside of the US who didn't have any work experience before starting their MBA. You definitely need to get some formal work experience under your belt. You will also need to tell a compelling story about WHY you need a second MBA beyond simply 'trading up' to a better brand that could land you a better job.

Have a solid 3-4 years of experience after your local Top 20 MBA and apply to US programs. Make sure to apply to Top 15 schools too, as they might be easier to get into and may open the same doors in some circumstances as M7 (i.e., IB or Consulting).

Nothing wrong with doing a second MBA, if that is what you are asking. Top US MBA's are aware of the limited opportunities offered by unranked MBA programs, and as such they constantly accept students from unranked schools. It's definitely hard to go from a TOP30 US MBA to a second MBA at M7, but from unranked to TOP15 should be super easy.

In terms of Investment Banking, you can get a job from any Top 15 but it's generally easier to break into a top firm from M7 than Top 15. From consulting side, it's also easier to break into MBB from M7 than Top 15. That being said, it's still not guaranteed and people end up at Tier 2 firms (Deloitte, Strategy&) from both M7 and Top 15.

Also, there are schools like Fuqua, Darden, Haas, Dartmouth Tuck, that even though they are not included in M7, they may not be worse than these schools educationally or opportunity wise because they are also highly prestigious schools.
