Stuck between two schools

Hi,I am an undergrad who has been accepted into these two schools. My main goal is to end up in IB doing M&A,however since I am a foreign student without a green card I am thinking of doing the CPA route cause its more employable and I have a higher chance of being employed while I work to get my green card. The main situation is since I am a transfer student Maryland has accepted me into their letters and sciences program(designed for transfer student and those who have not decided their major) however George Mason has directly admitted me into their accounting program. So whats your view guys ? Either way I am thinking about doing a master of accounting at UVA after graduation both to get my cpa requirements and since it has decent career placement.

I am not 100% sure about being able to get into the accounting program at UMD I may have to settle for Economics. So still Maryland ?

There is not such a minor. My heart is with Maryland since its recognized throughout the U.S.George Mason is clearly not.I will do Macc in UVA hopefully,I hear it has very decent placement ,even for people without a green card,so that`s a plus.

Pick Maryland as it should be cheaper (public vs private) and u do not need an acct major to get a macc, UNC's MACC (one of the top in the nation) accepts all majors.
