In my opinion: Duke & Dartmouth > UNC KF

Things to take into account: how many peers are competing for the same spots, on-campus recruiting, school recruiting teams at specific banks/pipelines. For Dartmouth, sophomore summer being spent on campus & ability to do some unique off-cycle opportunities. It might make a difference in PE recruiting as well (?)

Curious why sophomore summer is spent on campus at Dartmouth?

UNC placement is largely through diversity pipelines: white women, lgbtq, urm. On the flip side, a lot of non-diverse Dartmouth and Duke placement are nepotism hires. Pick your poison

Not sure. Many in Southeast rate it as high nontarget. I’m currently at Duke but wondered the distinction if any with these schools. Finished my Freshman year and looking toward banking/ consulting and just beginning to seek out internships for next year. Thank you for replying

Duke is easily the best school in the south. Don't understand why people always say things like "Oh yea. Vanderbilt is the Harvard of the South." ...like what? Even when folks mention USC and Indiana University and their respective supposedly great business schools, those are only good if you leverage the alumni network and stay relatively local. Otherwies, the top colleges will remain the top colleges.
