University of Minnesota transfer vs Bucknell liberal arts

Hello, I am currently a senior in high school deciding on where to go to college. I did an ED Bucknell for their Freeman College but was put in the College of Arts & Sciences. I would have to study economics, and only business style classes I would have the opportunity in the form of a minor in management. From what I have noticed on my research being in the liberal arts school would seem to hold be back in terms of networking and recruiting.

When I did my ED I tired to find a decent school that I could void my ED through. I found this in the University of Minnesota which would be very cheap for me attend, and I am in their business school. I would not plan to graduate from there due to me wanting to work out east, but I would try to use it as a stepping stone to transfer to a better business school. Notre Dame, Cornell, Emory, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, etc...

Another reason it would be a benefit to go to Minnesota would be due to the price. Already it is only 2k more expensive without scholarship and financial aid than Bucknell. I am currently awaiting on more financial aid and scholarships before I make any decisions.

I talked to a family friend who worked in banking on the east coast and it seems like a solid plan. I would also possibly be able to study abroad and receive research grants at Minnesota as well. Also currently trying to get a small internship set up after my final semester at prep school currently.

Let me know what you guys think.
