Want to work in London IB as a dual US/UK citizen

I am a US/UK dual citizen and have lived in the US all my life (my parents moved from the U.K. to the U.S. a year before I was born). I just graduated this past May from a T15 school here and have done multiple internships (including the all-important summer analyst program) at a top-grade MM PE shop based in NY/SF.

I've always had the itch to work in London after my study abroad experiences there at UCL last year, and I was wondering how feasible it is for me to land a graduate analyst position or even an off-cycle analyst role at an IB shop. I get I am asking at a weird point in the cycle (and the pay will be a fraction of what you can get in the U.S), but I wanted to take a bit of a break for a couple of months anyway before I go full time (the U.S hiring scene has also been brutal for 2024 grads and we don't have off-cycle roles post-grad typically).

I just want to see if anyone can shed more light on what could be obstacles (other than the difference in grading schemes in school, which are not compatible with UK apps). Any advice on how to be efficient and successful would also be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
