What makes a Business degree better than an economics degree when it comes to investment banking?

Hypothetical situation: you are an economics major at a university with a target business school. You have access to all the same resources that the students at the business school do. What makes the business degree a better major when it comes to preparing you for finance? What makes business a better major all together, if it is at all? I'm asking because I have the chance to major in either (majoring in both seems redundant), and most of the rest of the threads similar to this one always say business is a better major because of recruitment events/opportunities and other resources.
