Which University would be best for IB? - Year 13 student

Hello I've finished my application part of UCAS and now I just need my school to give me a reference.
These are the Universities and the courses that I have selected:
University of Nottingham - BSc Finance, Accounting and Management + BSc Industrial Economics.
University of Exeter - BSc Accounting and Finance
University of Manchester - BAEcon Finance
King's College London - BSc Business Management
Which one would be the best for IB and why?
Thank you.

The subject you study is fairly irrelevant tbh. You have applied to semi-targets, although some are a little stronger/more well represented than others. I'd say Nottingham and KCL do fairly well. I have seen a few people from Exeter but barely any from Manchester in front office division. But as they are all semi-targets I dont think there will be any major difference. Therefore, just choose whichever one you like the most out of Nottingham, KCL and Exeter. Make sure you network well, have a strong CV + CL, prepare for tests, know your technicals and apply early when the time comes (Aug/Sept next year, assuming everything works out well for you). Good luck mate.

Assuming you get all offers, I’d say Notts. slightly disagree with above posters as I think degree choice does matter a fair bit once you’re out of the firm targets, (Oxbridge, UCL, LSE etc) and most people I see break in from Notts did economics or something akin to it. It’s a good school and you’ll have a great time without being extorted by London fees, business it’s also seen as a “soft subject” in the UK.

Thank you all so much! You could probably tell that I like Nottingham more than the others. I appreciate all of your advice and I think either course at Nottingham would be useful.

Have a nice day!
