Speaking from experience, the Jewish community often has a strong helping hand to others looking to break in. Not as many as other colleges, but there’s usually 1-2 guys in each bank on a coverage team or something. Look up on LinkedIn “YU” and the name of the bank you are looking for

Current freshman looking to potentially transfer to YU:

Looking through linked in the placements are extremely impressive. Although don’t know if it’s the school or the religious aspect?

Fellow YU grad here. Tons of YU guys across banking in NYC. If you transfer in and want banking, make sure to speak to seniors who have a return offer secured / alumni who went through the process.

I think nowadays YU places anywhere from 5-15 guys per year in banking, which for the size is extremely impressive. The school is small in general, so placement rate for those actually recruiting is probably well over 50%, which is great. We really really push current students as long as they know their shit.
