Applying to Summer vs Full Time Analyst Positions as a Senior/Final Year Student
As a senior, am I generally allowed to apply for internship positions? There's a few openings that are taking both full time and summer interns, and I think I'd have a better shot at landing an internship rather than a full time role. On top of that, I think an internship lets me assess if this is the right field for me (coming from a CS background; I've done a prior internship as a quant at an IB, but I'm still not sure if this is the right field for me). In cases like these, does it hurt if I apply to both the summer analyst and full time analyst role, and just see which one I can land?
Thanks!
Check the graduation dates listed on the postings. Some may be flexible though.
Unfortunately some of the places I'm applying to (Goldman, RBC, Blackrock, etc) don't have a preferred date listed.
