Citi S&T Summer Placement
How does the Citi S&T summer placement process work? From what i know some banks have placement events similar to speed dating, not sure what Citi is like though.
Would appreciate more insight on this.

Apparently, you have to network your ass off all over again to get the group placement that you want (at least for your first rotation).
source? citi doesn't have a placement day and HR sends survey to rank preferences from what i understand. not sure how the networking would play in, assuming people are mad busy during market hours M-F
Some MDs and some seniors who interned there last summer both mentioned similar things about the networking aspect for placement. At the end of the day, it doesn't hurt to network regardless
keep in mind you also rotate up to 3 times as a full time analyst
