It's still the same format. Be mindful that for newer employees their middle initial may be added if a former or current employee had the first last format taken.

Either domain works, @GS.com or @goldmansachs.com.
Initials only matter if there is someone else with the same first and family name, in which case their unique Kerberos IDs would be different (or more practically, the Ctrl-K shortcut in Outlook becomes annoying).
Sorry to dig up this old thread, but what is the GS convention for placing the initial if there are identical names? I have come across such a case and would like to avoid my message ending up with the wrong person.

What division? Sometimes IBD has different email formats based on location, but generally at GS the email formats are the same across the board. i.e. [email protected]. Or, if there is more than 1 John Appleseed, at GS they toss in an X, so [email protected]

Does anyone know how the Goldman Sachs emails end? is it @goldmansachs.com , @GS.com etc? I have names of alumni that work at Goldman and I would love to be able to network with these people even if they just described on what they did to get into the door...Thanks for the help. I plan on using their names with the correct back email to contact them. I expect a good number of failure to deliver, but I am very determined.

In general it's "[email protected]"
It can vary by division.
For example, Goldman's SSG group has email addresses that are [email protected]

Sometimes they move on to other things. Try LinkedIn. If you know they are alumni and that at least at one point they worked at Goldman Sachs, put both into the search criteria, and you'll find alot.
