Enterprise Software Sales to S&T?

Is this possible? It gets old talking to a bunch of nerds all day. Sales numbers are solid its just after trying to talk to it nerds all day about some bullshit cybersecurity it gets really old.

I trade all day at work anyways so i'm pretty familiar with the market. Semi Target degree with a decent GPA

How many years have you been at this job? Did you study finance in college? But generally I'd say your current role has little to no relevance to help you get into S&T. Unless you have some very strong connections within the bank, you're best bet would be to go back to school for an MBA. Banks have pipelines of rotational analysts and summer students to feed into their desks and will occasionally poach someone senior from another bank but its not a job you can transition into unless you're already within the bank- even then its very difficult.

I thought it may have been similar to other areas. IE tech to med device isn't necessarily easy but certainly possible with the right angle.

Sounds like finance values finance more than sales skills.
