Equity Exotics Sales: How to do well as an associate?

Landed an associate role after switching to another bank, mainly covering institutional clients.

Would love to gather some ideas on how to do well at this level! :)

Some questions I currently have are:

  1. When flow exotics are quite standardized (e.g. yield enhancements involving embedded short puts), how do I gain an edge aside from getting client pricing feedbacks?

  2. What are some ways to grow the client base when almost all well-established clients have already been onboarded?

  3. How to initiate/maintain/enhance relationship with clients?

  4. Any other tips?

Thanks in advance, and wish you a pleasant weekend!
