Exiting WM for S&T?

Hi all,

I am currently an undergraduate studying business management at a UK semi-target (bath, bristol, durham), and I am graduating in July. I sent out 50+ applications for grad schemes and the only offer I was able to pull in the end was a wealth management programme in London at a strong BB (think Goldman, MS, etc.). Though I am happy to have landed a role in such a competitive job market, this is not where my true dream lies. I am deeply fascinated by markets, and hence want to end up in S&T if possible. How likely would such a move be? I understand it would probably be quite difficult as my course is not super technical and neither is wealth management. My current plan is to do the WM role for a few months and then apply to other firms for S&T or try to transfer internally. I would also be open to considering a masters if that would help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
