FT S&T Recruiting

I was fortunate to have a couple S&T Superdays for summer 2020 but struck out on getting offers. Just wondering if anyone has insight into the full time hiring process (if it exists). Most of the other threads are inconclusive or old. Thanks!

I think that your best bet is probably to utilize your alumni network to get a shot somewhere. Connections are everything, especially in S&T.

As you know, S&T isn't really expanding so intern classes have been gradually shrinking at many banks, and often times return offers are not 100% simply because the headcount is not there. Many great interns in my class that got waitlisted because of this.

I also networked with a couple of banks after my stint and the response was that no outside recruiting would be done as spaces had been filled up by the intern class.

Echo this.

Also I would add look at Long term or off cycle internship as if you get into these longer programs, you increase your odds also because the bank invests more money on you training for the position
