Hesitation about joining the buyside

So I'm currently going through the process of interviewing for a buyside role at a very well known and respected asset manager to work as a junior PM with the goal to have me work up to producing trade ideas and generating pnl in the actively traded etfs that this specific desk manages. However, I'm currently on the sell side and have been in an actual trading role for around 8 months. I have been on the desk more in a strategy role before that for around another 7 months so all in I've been on this desk for a little over a year. The product I trade now is fairly complex and I know I have a lot to learn not just about the product itself but about trading and how different market conditions impact different spreads across all assets and market making dynamics etc(these are both FI roles btw). As well the desk I am on is very highly respected and the seat I am in is 1 of MAYBE 10 good sell side seats across all of Wall Street.I'm conflicted as this role on the buyside does seem to be a good opportunity albeit in a different sector than I am trading now, but I also know that I have a lot to learn in my current role. Is it too early for me to make the move over? I don't doubt that other buyside opportunities will present themselves in the future but this is one of if not the top fixed income asset managers out there. Just looking for any kind of perspective from some people with experience.
