How to switch from sales to trading
I am an analyst in rates sales at a solid bb and rlly want to trade somethign macro (and vol would be even better) at a BB. How do I go about making this happen? I’m scared to ask my higher ups for a referral as I think they want me on board long term, and i don’t want to end up out of a job with nothing. Should I try to move to another/lower bank? Is there a different move I should make? How hard should this move be as an analyst? Rlly appreciate all help. Thx
