I work on the Index Vol desk and I'm probably going to get laid off... Any advice?

create free accounts at glassdoor and indeed. create search profiles for trader, trading, risk management, business analyst. You will see lots of job postings....apply to the ones that you think are a good fit. Do this once every few days.

also, in the meantime, look at your firms internal careers website, and look for positions that you would be a good fit for a transfer. You should assume that in 30 days you will be unemployed...so don't delay...consider this your new job...finding a job.
