a while back i was directed to goldman sach's weekly chartbook on scribd

i'm on wso quite a bit and so, if you're like me, you might have seen it too

if you look at p 13, you'll see that their value portfolio outperforms the portfolio that selects stocks on value and growth

is that normal? perhaps i've read (skimmed actually :( ) too many value investing books, but i'm not all that surprised. perhaps people systematically overestimate growth potential in stocks
