Got a rejection email two weeks ago.
I was rejected today but then got the following email. I'm not sure if this happened to a bunch of people or that it means they're interested in me.

I received the same two emails. I got an email inviting me to the 1st round interviews today though.
What position did you apply for?
Had an on campus S&T interview about 6 weeks ago, haven't heard anything back yet even after emailing HR. Application status still says "under review", and haven't received a rejection letter even though my interview was a while ago

That's what I'm hoping. And they rejected me for ib and S&T then an hour later I got that email from S&T only saying it was a mistake
I only applied to IB but haven't heard like I said. I'll bookmark this thread and post when I do. Theres so much misinformation on this forum regarding the SA timeline its hard to know what's real and what isn't.
Is it the case that all BBs make the recruiting process earlier this year? I think some companies like CS and BAML already extend offers for some people.
Some people already got offers from JPM. I think they have done with the recruitment for NY office.

Thank you, I am a non-target. I just applied through the JPM careers website. I got that same email about HK and Singapore. I emailed back and said I'd like to be considered, sounds like a potentially cool experience.

I had a first round on Friday for NYC S&T, was told superdays will be mid January. I go to a non-target.
and by first round, you mean phone interview, correct?

Some sophomore results are out already, and I'd imagine juniors are also getting results by now.

I still have yet to hear as well. Status hasn't changed from "application received". I applied in September. 4 months waiting is a little ridiculous if you ask me.
Had a phone interview last week for the Chicago office. I should expect to hear back sometime today whether I get invited to a superday or not. Still not sure what the timeline for NYC looks like though.
How was the interview? Technical at all?
No not at all. Was asked some behavioral/situational questions, background/fit, a few questions about current market events, and a couple questions about interest rates changing and the effects on various things in the market. Overall pretty laid back.
Had first round interview in late October, mid-November superday, called back with offer that night (JPM S&T NY). When the interns and I were all in a conference room chatting he said he heard it was their second S&T superday for that office, out of what I assume are probably quite a few. Best of luck to everyone if the process is still going on.

I got a call/e-mail saying that my candidacy is still being considered and that I will be told in 2 weeks. I assume that means I am on hold? am a sophomore btw.
