Mentor for trading competition

Hello, I'm in the eleventh grade and will be participating in this trading competition. I do have a little amount of knowledge about stocks and options, but I'm not sure whether I know enough to truly win this thing because it's meant to be conducted remotely.

I've tried getting in touch with my principal, and she promised to have a teacher assist me, but I doubt any of the teachers will be as experienced as yall are; it would be helpful if you could sort of mentor me in regard to how I should sort of research what options to invest in, what type of risk should I avoid, is here some sort of strategy that I should stick to so on and so forth.

Also if there's any advice you would like to share please message me.

Thanks.
