options trading vs power trading

hey all,

i've received offers for an prop trading firm (tier-2, think akuna, imc, etc) and an up and coming power trading firm .

im concerned about my ability to thrive long-term in an options trading firm as i only have a background in economics and will, at some point in time, be uncompetitive compared to those with stronger math backgrounds. i feel like i would have a longer career in a power trading firm. also, its likely easier for me to climb the ranks at the power trading firm because its slightly smaller (50+ people), vs 200+ employees at the options trading firm.

however, the options trading firm is definitely more prestigious and could lead to more options in the future. power trading firm is relatively unknown but not a boiler room. former hires kids from hpysm, latter tends to top students from iits, top chinese / african unis, etc. sharing this to give an idea about the difference in the firm culture / employees, etc.

any ideas on which would be a better offer to take on? thanks - looking to hear any advice that you may have.
