Peak6 vs Spot Trading

Can anyone compare Peak6 to Spot Trading? I know a good amount about Peak6 but not a lot about Spot. It seems like Spot's salary is higher but there isn't a whole lot of information on glassdoor. More interested in their trading positions than anything else.

I just know a few guys at Peak6 that love it and have been there for 5 plus years and both kill it, and I know one guy that is ex-Spot and hated it, so i have no direct knowledge and the ex-Spot trader may be a bit disgruntled (or he may have lost money and got axed)....but, Peak6 has a HF/Asset Management arm alongside their market making and market taking activities. If i had the opportunity to work at one or the other, id chose Peak6 all day. Peak6 also is much more respected in the marketplace (not saying Spot is a bad shop by any means). Turnover at Spot seems to be very high too. I just think long term, Peak6 is where you would want to work, plus their office space is immaculate.

In general, base salary starting out of college is a pretty good indication of both the firms relative market performance and how much they value you as an individual. Peak6 has started paying significantly less than other trading firms to new hires in the last few years for whatever reason. This is from indirect accounts but I've heard they're offering 20-35k less than comparable firms.
