Prop Trading in Hong Kong

Hi all,

I am quite interested in the culture of prop trading firm and I would like to start my career in Hong Kong. I have heard JSC has just moved their TOKYO office to Hong Kong. Do you know what prop trading firms have office in Hong Kong? Any inputs would be appreciated.

“The mentor provided extremely detailed and thoughtful feedback throughout our session. What I appreciated most was that the advice was not generic. He took the time to understand my background, past experiences, and the specific roles I am currently recruiting for, and then tailored his suggestions accordingly. He also connected many of his recommendations to his own professional background and experiences, which made the feedback much more practical and credible. Instead of simply telling me what to change, he explained why certain answers or approaches would be more effective and how an interviewer might interpret them. He also shared specific examples from his own experience to illustrate his points. I came away from the session with a much clearer understanding of both my strengths and the areas I should improve, as well as several concrete ways to strengthen my interview preparation. imc, Jane Street, bluefin, Optiver (most is in sydney), labranche, Susquehanna, timber hill, liquid, to name the bigger ones.

Why are you interested in the culture of a prop trading firm (esp. in Asia)? What do you know about it? Are you also open to Singapore?

I'm interested in Singapore in the long run. Do you know what firms have offices there? The main attraction to Singapore to me is that English is the first and official language over there (I don't speak Chinese).

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
