Sales & Trading Pathway

As a 15 year old, what can I do right now to ensure a career in sales & trading, other then getting into a top university? as in what skills can I develop right now which would be effective in the future?

okay thanks so much, also do you think its worth it to go London School of Economics or Wharton, and tank the debt, if I want to work in Sydney, or should I attend UNSW which is a "target" for banking and trading in Australia. Is the prestige of Wharton or LSE worth the debt?

In my experience, going to a semi-target you can still break into s&t. Obviously try to get into the best college and try to get financial aid. But id you can’t afford it, go for a more affordable semi target and grind.

oh okay thanks so much, do you think I should grind mental maths on websites like zetamac? because I currently average around a score of 39 for 120 seconds.

You should not prioritze this at all right now. Getting fundamental knowledge of the markets is way more important. Some interviews don’t even ask u for mental match

For s&t no, for prop yes and 39 doesn’t cut it. But go and enjoy your life man… play some sports or Xbox or something and be a kid while you have the time… and don’t come back to this website for at least 5 years, you’re stressing yourself out for no reason
