S&T RETURN RATES

What would be the possible return rates for FT after this SA summer for S&T? I know top tier banks usually have lower return rates but what about mid tier banks such as (BoFa, CS, Citi)?

What would be good desks to be on during this time as well?

The internship is rotational though, so how would return rates be desk specific? Genuine question I'm not sure how it works.

Those are not mid-tier banks lmao. Also, try to focus on giving it your all and doing your best this summer despite the circumstances. It's a shitty situation, but they'll applaud you for really trying. If you prove to be a great fit for the job, you should have no problem receiving a FT offer. As for desks, I'd assume every desk is busier these days given the increased vol in the market. Find something that interests you (ex. credit, macro, equity derivatives, etc.)

Thank you!

What do you mean not mid tier? Aren't those the banks right under the top tier common 3 banks?

This site portrays the image that those banks are mid-tier. Yes, they would fall somewhere in the middle if we're talking about BBs. But don't be mistaken, all three of those banks are powerhouses with large balance sheets and an international presence. Furthermore, S&T prestige is more desk-specific contrary to IB. It's much more about performance rather than a history of closing top deals.
