Working at lower tier Prop trading firm

I have offers from a couple of prop trading firms and was basically set on going into prop trading. Then I came across a scathing but extremely well-written review of Consolidated Trading which is pretty similar to the firms that I was thinking of going into.

Is this at all typical of the prop trading industry? I have an offer from Belvedere and they seem fairly similar to Consolidated. If this a fairly accurate representation of prop firms?
