PRINCETON OR UCHICAGO (HF/VC UNDERGRAD)???

I've just been taken off the Princeton undergrad waitlist, I've already committed to UChicago but it is not too late to switch.

Out of Princeton and UChicago, which school is stronger for HF out of undergrad?

Considering many things such as education, network, alumni connection, job placement, and more.

Thank you! I have to reply to Princeton this upcoming Monday. What makes you say Princeton? What does a top 2 Ivy consist of? For all I know, it's just a name with little metrics. In terms of programs, UChicago is famous for its economic theory. UChicago named the economics building after the founder of CITADEL. Princeton has produced three U.S. Presidents. The access Princeton has may give UChicago a run for its money. Though, I imagine all the top schools have the same access.

Interesting, are you saying that one school will not give more opportunities than the other? I'm not too-too concerned about my college happiness. I just want to position myself in the best way possible for HF/VC without going into IB. Buyside being incredibly hard to break into, I'm ready to sacrifice social life and sleep during my college years to set the rest of my life up.

That's a powerful statement. I've spoken to a few of the current UChicago students. A few of them have told me that some of their veteran students are transferring for reasons I do not know why; "better opportunities" they said.
