VCs, why do you prefer a MacBook over Windows?

This is for my benefit. I'm coming from IB so my work computer has always been Windows, even at my current VC job. That said, I use a Macbook for my personal computer (rarely use it).

I feel like it's a pretty 50/50 mix on computers used by other junior VCs. Macbook users - why?

For me, the biggest benefit is being able to text peers via iMessage and share files easily that way vs. using email. What else? I'm not as deep in models as I used to be but it would be hard for me to re-wire my muscle memory for Apple's Office suite applications (while still recognizing that it can now do 99.999% of Windows' version these days).

What else am I forgetting? I see the benefit in having one device for work and personal, and I figure my risk of getting audited/questioned by the SEC is much lower in VC where I don't have to be wary of cross-contamination.

Because in VC you don't need to model (or even if you do, it is just garbage in, garbage out) and it is all about gaining market share at all cost (even if your profit never sees a dime in the next five years) while making sure your revenue 100x and your EV hits $1 trillion dollars in the future (definitely not talking about OpenAI's latest round)
