Strategy Consulting after KPMG Financial Advisory
So I'mAdvisory(associate currently but AM in like 2-3 years) in Asia. Our work comprises m&a feasibilities, fin. modelling, fdd etc. I'm a chartered accountant and want to know if I should prep for an or any other msc strategy etc. My goal is partner at a strategy firm (only if work satisfaction is high which depends on the assignments.). I'm aur b4 currently as my long term goal because if I study further I'll probably have to start from associate consequently raising the . I want to know if I should continue as a CA in the firm and rise thru the ranks or go for an etc after 3 years and get in an mbb firm.
I'm leaning towards the 2nd option as they offer higher pay among other reasons.
P.s I'm indifferent b/w mbb and big4(big4's strategy consulting dept.). I'd go with the highest paying firm.
