Are federal/defense McKinsey consultants second-class citizens in the firm?

I frequently hear of a divide between federal and commercial consultants in big 4 consulting firms, especially at Deloitte. Supposedly that apparently results in slower careers, slow-paced projects, lower salaries, and poorer b-school exit opportunities.
Does anyone know if McKinsey seems to have this divide? Some consultants are hired for exclusively defense work, and I was wondering if this issue affects them.

No, this is not the case. At MBB you rarely have people specializing in solely governmental projects, and if you do the projects will be much higher stakes than those of a Deloitte, so the federal aspect doesn't appear less prestigious.
