Blackstone Undergraduate Summer Analyst Superday

I have a final round superday at Blackstone this upcoming Friday. Already had first round phone interviews with 4 different groups (PE, Tac Opps, Strat Partners, RE).

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how their super days are structured and what to expect? How behavioral/technical? How to best prepare?

Would really appreciate any information, thanks!

PE is very technical. That and R&R are the most difficult interviews, in my opinion. Heavy focus on all the questions you would get in a very technical banking interview, with more focus on drivers (so you really need to understand valuation thoroughly). Be prepared to speak on why buy-side and also convincing investment ideas/thought processes, which makes it significantly harder than a standard banking interview.

Strategic Partners is a lot easier - mix of behavioral/technical with the technicals being more high-level than banking/PE interviews (Q: What might you do to value a set of 10 companies if you needed to do it in 10 minutes? A: Quick and dirty comps, etc.; Q: Order of riskiness of equity, mezz, pref., and debt?) Keep in mind that this isn't really IBD or PE, and exit opps are more in the lines of FoFs, pensions, SWFs, etc.

Had a friend interview with RE - it's a top RE opportunity so I'm sure it'll be quite technical. Tac Opps is a relatively new group, so I can't speak to the interview. But, looking at the associates in the group, all have very impressive backgrounds (coming from BBs, MFs, large-cap PE, HFs) so I'm sure will be tough.
