Cambridge MPhil Fin & Eco vs LSE Msc Finance

Would anybody choose the MPhil Finance and Economics at Cambridge (School of Economics) over the MSc Finance at LSE?

I am currently looking to maximise/boost my chances for a FO job and possibly move to HF down the line (if I can) so the practical MSc Finance seems to be the obvious choice.

However, I would gladly go with the much cheaper (but way more theoretical) MPhil if that won't realistically be any less good for future employment.

Is recruitment so much better if you go to London as everything seems to suggest?

I'd argue the opposite to the above...Cambridge master degrees are honestly garbage. LSE's MSc Finance course is the best in the country by far... (I'm a Cambridge grad, so no bias here)

This is very interesting. Why do you say that the masters at Cambridge is garbage. Is it the course structure, recruitment, etc. also do recruiters view both programs with parity?

Course is simple and they seem to take anyone who gets a first at undergrad level from any institution. Not even remotely comparable to the undergraduate selection process. I am sure that recruiters know this.
