There have literally been openings over the last few months for Citi FT IB and S&T...

yeah analysts usually don't get much color unless they monitor their group's internal jobs portal closely

btw citi could be expanding FT class for certain groups due to increased deal flow or larger than expected number of analysts quitting post-bonus

Can confirm that some groups at Citi are doing some full-time hiring. Some markets are super busy in dealflow right now and looking for more people. Keep networking and make sure you're talking to associates and above too, sometimes analysts don't have too much sway on FT analyst recruiting.

FT recruiting is usually siloed by group and office, so you'll likely need to answer 'Why (X) Group?' type questions and know trends in the industry more than a generalist interview. Also because of this, you'll need to speak to specific bankers in that group to know about recruiting timelines in that group.

Did you know how many spots avail or anyone that heard back from the super day? Spoke to an analyst in the grp a while ago and wasn’t aware they were looking

generally  hear back the same day for superdays for Citi, did they tell you during the interview when they were going to follow up?

Curious to hear how many people they bring in for FT superdays as well if you have any insights
