DCM Analyst Interview at Credit Agricole CIB

I was wondering if anyone has experience interviewing with Credit Agricole CIB for a DCM analyst position. I was looking around and didn't really find much on Glassdoor for CA CIB.

The best I found was just reading up on DCM on mergers and inquisitions. From what I gather what I should be focusing on, besides the obvious fit question, are: general debt questions, macro economic news, and accounting (?).

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I was called in for a super day without prior rounds, so I'd like to get a better picture before going in.

for some reason i get the feeling they are going to focus on your technical skills... NYC office right?

I'm pretty sure CA focuses on more investment grade credits so if that is the case expect normal credit questions and a general macro understanding of the process. Also CA is a MM or boutique in credits IMO so they are probably looking at raising capital for firms that are either taped out in the equity market or are looking to get a more favorable cost of capital.

Understand your bond valuation down pat. Know exactly what Duration, Convexity, Rates, etc is and how it affects bonds from an issuer and investor standpoint. Understand a bit of M&A valuation metholodogies. DCF, etc. Also, understand the DCM IG Market, its hot but not as hot as it was a couple months back. Understand Yield and where rates are (10 year treasuries) . What have they been doing the last couple months? Know what the fed said last week? Well what happeneded to rates and the yield curve..... good luck

Hey, I was wondering if anyone else had any information on this group, specifically what would be stronger, their DCM group or a Credit Analyst position?

DCM by far. Trust me, you don't want to be a Credit Analyst at CA-CIB.

The DCM group is probably the busiest product group at CA-CIB next to Syndicated Loans, but you'll gain lots of experience very quickly.
