Disability Disclosure?

So I recently got diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the end of my second year of college. Looking back, it seems to be the most probable reason for my shitty grades among a host of other current struggles. I noticed bipolar disorder it is listed under the disability disclaimer section, and I wanted to know if it would potentially help me or hurt me in my summer intern applications. What do you think? Also, will employers ask me about it at all in interviews?

Hot take: no, banks would rather you have one arm than mental illness

I thought this was definitely the case lmao. Any chance I could weave it into a story about how my single father became disabled and I became the primary breadwinner while having bipolar disorder causing my grades to slip? Or should I just definitely leave it out to explain how my grades have an uptrend while working 3 jobs? Any help is appreciated.

I would only put that for a diversity internship (GS Diverse abilities), I wouldn’t bring it up in a regular superday, sucks but that’s just how life is

I appreciate the advice. I'll definitely give it a try on that application.
