Do I have a chance at PJT RX if I'm not from Wharton/Harvard?
I got a first round with PJT Restructuring despite having a 3.6 and zero banking/finance experience on my resume. I go to a target, not H/W though. Is the playing field relatively even once I have this first round? Do non H/W kids have a realistic chance at PJT RSSG? Any specific things I should do to prep for this interview?
Yes if you're smart enough
Are you FT? I thought interviews are starting a bit later for 2018 SA
No, I have an interview for SA
yea just heard from a friend that got it. well hopefully they have another wave lol
Same here. I don't know what to expect honestly... Heard it is pretty technical
100% technical apparently. They only do fit at networking events and superday
PJT doesn't do any networking events at my school, they don't even come to campus though all the other banks do
can confirm 1st round invites are out (non-core school), if anyone has any insight on how best to prep would be very appreciated
when is your interview?
Not a matter of what school you're from as much as your experience. I would be more concerned with your lack of relevant experience, as that would put the burden on you to explain why you should be hired compared to other Ivy candidates who have boutique IB internships already.
