Equity Research Internship - E&P
Hey everyone, I have have an interview with an energy investment bank in their Equity Research division as an E&P ER intern. I was wondering if anyone had insight on how these interviews go in terms of how technical/fit questions and whatnot.
Just found about the interview today and it's coming up on Monday!
Thanks for the info.
Have a long and a short idea and know everything there is to know about them.
Also have opinions (with justification) on where you see oil and gas prices going. Being able to talk at least a little about relevant developments like LNG, pipelines, hot oil producing regions, services etc would help too. Knowing about scheduling, crude trading, forward markets, things like that would also help.
So, from the sounds of it, the interview will be pretty technical. This is basically an off cycle, part time gig. I applied on Wednesday, got an email yesterday saying that I'm scheduled for a Monday interview.
Thanks for the input, I'll make sure to be reviewing until then!
How'd it go?
Completely fit. If there was a technical hidden in one of my questions about my resume I would have never known. I was expecting a crazy interview given the brand of the firm.
