Fidelity Diverse Investors Student Experience?

It's a diversity focused internship for sophomores. I'm not sure about the exact functions that interns perform but "DISE interns have the outstanding opportunity to learn and develop alongside investment professionals from our various asset classes, including but not limited to Equity, Fixed Income, High Income & Alternatives, Asset Allocation, and Strategic Advisers." So it seems like its a proper research-associate-type FO role. Is this something you guys would recommend applying to if I wanted to pursue IB/PE junior summer? I'm not sure how I feel about AM, which is partially because I don't know much about it.

Do you have an offer or not ? I'm not sure why you are hesitant to apply... you should be applying to everything... and these kind of roles are the exit oppths

Not sure if this program converts into junior internship and then full time, but it’s probably a lot tougher to get than an IB internship. Most people would probably rather be a research associate, but there are so few spots. Could be a good program to aim for if you’re not sure about AM. However, you could also just try to go to straight BB IB for sophomore internship. The sophomore IB classes at BBs are bigger than entire FT class at LO AM shops. GS/MS/JPM all have sophomore programs.

Lol, PMs at LO AM like Fidelity and Wellington make multiples of what MDs make at BBs which much better WLB. The DISE program is one of the hardest programs to get into out of undergrad and is a pipeline for their FT research associate program. All-in comp is around $150K for first-year without ever touching 60 hours. If OP has an offer he should def take it as all BBs will know how hard these buyside seats are to get.

Can I PM you? I'm in the process of interviewing for DISE and would appreciate some feedback.
