Guggenheim Partners Equity Research
Anyone have any information regarding analyst positions in equity research at Guggenheim?
Exit opps, base/bonus, hours, culture in general? Would especially appreciate info on exit opps and comp.

How good is Guggenheim Equity Research (Originally Posted: 04/24/2015)
I couldn't find much info about the firm on this site. How's Guggenheim ranked among MM banks? How's the research team ranked on the street? All I heard was they've been expanding and have a solid IB/AM business.
I too am interested in the answer to this question. It sounds like they have a relatively small coverage universe, but what I really want to know is what their reputation is.
I'm sure we are all interested suddenly for the same reason.
It's a small world.
I know someone who works in credit research, and apparently that is glorified slavery
Anyone else?
Their IBD, AM, and trading are pretty solid. However, their research from what I've gathered is not that well-regarded. I almost never hear about Guggenheim ER in the top of the rankings.
Depends on what analyst or industry you work for. Also they have have a good DC/policy team.
