Dude I get that it makes more financial sense to live at home while you're interning if you can...but you'll be getting enough comp to put yourself up in the city, away from your parents. 10 weeks living by yourself in NYC (or whatever city) while working at MS GS JPM...why would you want to live at your house?

Do not live with your parents. Trust me, if I could do it again as a 21-22 y/o and not a saltier former Marine who commuted, I would go into debt to stay in the city.

Not necessarily, my roommate accepted an MS Operations internship and they sent him paperwork acknowledging a $2000 'housing stipend'

'Before you enter... be willing to pay the price'

My house is in the city, my bed is comfortable, and I love a home-cooked breakfast. Also, I figure all I'll really be doing at home is sleeping. Anyway, regardless do either of you know the answer?
