Equity Research summer internship starting soon, how to prepare? (Originally Posted: 03/15/2018)
Hi,
I'll be starting at a major european bank, as an equity research intern in the summer.
How should I prepare? As a background, I have a Msc in finance and have read a loot of basic books in investing. In addition I have no prior experience in ER. And I have no idea which industry I will be working on in the internship.
Should I read some books? Rehearse Excel and valuation? Recap on accounting, multiples and financial statements? Read this forum? Or just intensively follow the markets?
