Info on State Street Global Advisors/State Street Global Markets/State Street Global Exchange
Hey guys,
Does anyone have any info on State Street Global Advisors, State Street Global Markets or State Street Global Exchange, especially their offices in Japan?
I know that SSGA is their Asset Management arm, but would like to know more about the other two divisions (e.g. is global markets their sell-side divison?).
If you guys have any experience or insights on these divisions, especially Asia/Japan, the interview process for these divisions, pay, work-life balance for each division, transitioning into these roles from back-office, that would be great. Thanks a bunch!
P.S. I have a year of operations background from State street global services (Kansas City) with a background in asian studies, which is why I am curious about transferring to other divisions within State Street).
Hi fomo120, whoops, looks like nobody chimed in here.... maybe one of these discussions below is relevant:
Hope that helps.

SSGA - asset management branch.. SSGM- sell side.. work life balance - depends on where you are/ what you do.. but generally state street offers better work/life balance but comes with a trade off of lackluster pay - but again depends on where you are.. some area pay more, some don’t..
